Welcome to another instalment of our Staff Spotlight series, where we introduce you to various members of the RetireInvest team to help you get to know them a bit better.
This time, we interviewed Catherine Pell, our Client Relationship Manager and Senior Paraplanner. Catherine’s career in financial services is a journey marked by a real commitment to helping clients plan for their future.
First steps
Catherine’s started her career as an Administrator, where she quickly developed a keen interest in financial planning. Over time, she transitioned into a Paraplanner role and, in 2012, achieved her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, qualifying as a Financial Adviser. After 11 years of advising clients across the UK, Catherine made the decision to join RetireInvest at the head office in Grantham, where she now plays a pivotal role in supporting both clients and colleagues.
And the most enjoyable aspect of the job is?
Working as part of a great team – Catherine loves the fact that we are a close team and all work together to ensure the advisers have everything they need and the clients receive a good level of service. Each individual is treated with the care and attention they deserve.
Variety is the spice of life
No day and no client are ever the same. Catherine relishes the fact that variety keeps her role engaging and rewarding, offering the chance to solve new problems, collaborate with financial professionals and make a real difference in the lives of clients.
Her superpower would be?
She would choose the ability to be able to read minds, so she could tell what the advisers are thinking without having to chase them….
Little Miss Neat
Would be her chosen Little Miss character because she likes to be organised and cannot abide mess!
